Would it be worth changing just the 4 passenger side spark plugs till I have Time to change drivers side I was told before the drivers side has less resistance so it last longer is that true ? I pulled 2 passenger side plugs out they are really wore out

No the plugs on the same side as the intake manifold are the important ones they are what fire the cylinders. The passenger side are useless they fire on the exhaust stroke to clean up emissions.

Thank you I had it reversed I appreciate it I bought motercraft plugs and I’m glad I checked the gap they was way off they was 0.58 and it calls for 0.44

My other question about that truck they say it won’t run on just one coil pack I can unplug one and it will start and run fine plug it in and un plug the other one and it runs just fine any idea why that is?

That was absolutely the wrong answer.

You can disconnect the plugs on the drivers side and you will not notice the difference.

Try disconnecting one plug, or all, on the passenger side, and I'll bet a nickel, or your paycheck that the engine will NOT start.

EDIT: To clarify, the engine might start with one plug disconnected(likely will) but it will not run smoothly. You WILL notice if one plug is disconnected on the passenger side was the intent of the post.

The drivers side plugs are not used for starting, running, etc, but are for emissions control in certain specific conditions.

Do the passenger side. If you cannot afford to replace them, use a small file(tuneup file) to square the center electrode and the 'inside' of the side electrode where it faces the center electrode. Then set the gap according to spec. The plugs will work like new. For a while.

I was going to say this last night, because my understanding is the same (the passenger side plugs are the ones the engine depends on to start and run).

However since I don't have a twin plug truck, I only "know" that from reading, so didn't want to be wrong in the correction.
