Default what is this?

Attached is a part that's next to my coil packs. What is it? It has lines running to

my egr and manifold, it's not the canister purge valve.

EGR Control Valve Solenoid/Motor

Its a switch that detects the EGR temp and adjusts it (the EGR) accordingly..

I've had a P0171 code since I've had the truck, I just replaced this part along with the dpfe (happened to get a code for the dpfe) the p0171 code is gone.
