Default Power steering pump

I just got a new power steering pump to install this weekend. It came with a Teflon seal for the threaded inlet hose. It also came with a small black o ring I'm not exactly sure where it goes. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance.

Don't bet more than a donut or two, but I think the Teflon seals are used on the metal lines to/from the rack, and the O-ring is used on the other end, at the pump outlet fitting.
If you got the Teflon seals, count yourself lucky, as they don't come with every thing that would need them, and are a $5 part, each. They are not 'in stock' at all Ford parts outlets. I had to search to find them locally when I replaced the rack.
As I remember, I got them warmed up in hot water, sort of stretched them a bit, and then fed them over the end of the fitting. When they cooled, they relaxed back to normal size and tightened up.

Thanks Tom for the info. I will keep a lookout for this when I replace it this weekend.

Thanks Tom, you were exactly right. The small rubber o ring went on the outlet nipple. I also had to warm up the Teflon seal to get it on the metal inlet line. No more whine as of now. Thanks for the info.
