I'm not sure what you mean by steering wheel hub? This (Mechanism) is on a what looks like a tilt steering wheel lever located in the same place between the turn signal switch and the dashboard on the left side of steering column and its movement is very puzzling and what I mean by that is you can pull it forward towards The turn signal switch push it back or forward or fold it up towards the roof of the car it can be pushed down towards the floor of the car it literally has movement and motion in any and all directions almost like you can fold it up but the movement doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason. All that being said would you suppose it is an aftermarket cruise control??
