Default Carbing a 2.3

Buying a 2.3 8 plug for a demo truck. Truck is stripped so don't wanna keep it fuel injected I want to carb it. What do I all need to carb it im guessing different intake and distibuter correct me if I'm wrong or missing anything. Also if someone could link me to where I could buy these parts not trying to spend a arm and a leg but can't find much.

Not sure on year fuel injected so the newer 2.3

Not sure of the year....oh come on.
The year is only posted on the door jamb, under the hood on the radiator support, or you can look up the VIN.

Once you have an 8 plug head, it doesn't matter unless you can machine holes in the block. The 8 plug have no distribulator. No way to send sparks using a distributor means you need to keep the computer. At least I think distributors were gone when they added the extra emissions plugs. I think 96 up, but don't bet that donut.

The blocks had a distributor hole up to 94 but had a gear drive camshaft position sensor or just a removable gear drive in the hole.
