In Arizona I travel to the mountains a couple of times a year. 1000 ft to 7000 ft. I have a stock 3.0. In town I use regular, on the road premium. I've done this for decades. Without fail I feel extra power on steep grades and always about 10 per cent better mileage. This mileage increase usually offsets the extra cost of premium. Just my experienced 2 cents. Also this is true for my v-8's and 6's in the past.
