Hello,

My basic problem is an old Ranger from 1983 with a defective motor. At first sight it seems a piston problem. This "original" set-up had a 4 BBl Holley 390 CFM and a distributor electronic ignition. I need to fix it fast and the fastest & cheapest route is an used 1992 Ranger 2.3.
I want to rebuiild the old motor in competition form next winter. It is why I prefer not to swap head. The basic question is: How could I fit a carb on a 1992 motor?
