Default IMRS vacuum line connections

Can anyone tell me where the other end of the vacuum line connects that comes off the IMRS Intake Manifold Runner Solenoid? It's the one that points toward the ground.

See this:

So the one that points towards the ground runs to IMRC actuator attached to the back of the intake manifold.

Thanks. I had seen this drawing but did not find a place on the back of the manifold where a vacuum line could be connected. I believe the engine was replaced at some point when one of our techs ran it without oil. Could the replacement engine have been a little different? Is there something specific this vacuum line connects to?

Yeah, let me see if I can find a better picture of what it attaches to.

By the way, what year is your truck? 2001.5 - 2003's had the IMRC. Ford got rid of the system in 2004.
The 2001.5 - 2003's also had a very expensive electric thermostat. If your thermostat does not have
an electric plug on it then it's possible that the engine is a 2004+. If your intake manifold does not have
a IMRC actuator on the back of it AND you don't have a connector on your thermostat then it's probably
a 2004+ engine. Oh and one other thing although I'm not 100% sure on this but I think the 2001.5-2003
2.3L's had aluminum valve covers. I think the 2004+'s had composite/plastic valve covers.

EDIT:

Ok so here's a pic of the IMRC Actuator on the intake manifold. You can just barely see the vacuum nipple to the left of the actuator.
This actuator is mounted on the side of the intake manifold and right next to the firewall. It's a real bear to see and get to.

Thanks for your help. We finally found the vacuum connection on the actuator under some wiring and a hose. Took care of the problem!
