Default Re: miss #4

I am having a similar issue, I have a 97 2.5. When you first start it is runs good, however if you rev it up and let the throttle come back to idle the truck will die. when you restart it, it starts hard and runs rough and is missing. every now and then it throughs a code of miss fire #2 cylinder. I had to replace the engine 2 years back so I have some spair parts for testing. So far I swaped out the coils, injectors, TPS, EGR valve, new spark plugs, new fuel pump and filter, I even disconnected the exhaust to test for a pluged cat. the compersion is good and I too remained stumped. Can a faulty crank sensor cause this?
