Default exhaust leak 99 ranger 2.5

Hi guys I have a 99 ranger 2wd 2.5. Their is a pipe that goes along the back of the engine against the firewall and connects to the exhaust manifold. It also has white heat wrap around it. The leak is coming from 2 metal tubes that have broken off this pipe. They go to black vacumn hoses then to a sensor pack probably causing my check engine light to come on. It looks like I will have to replace this entire pipe but with the rust on both ends, it looks imposible. Does anyone know what I am refering too? can I get this pipe aftermarket or thru ford? Has anyone replaced this part? any help is appreciated.

I think you mean the EGR tube. You could go junkyard but I saw mention of it new on Ebay while I was pricing EGR valves. Seems like a bitch to work on. Good luck.

It is a bitch to work on. You can only get it from a Ford dealer, and it is expensive for a cheap steel pipe. The easiest way to change this tune is to take the EGR valve off after removing the old line. Get the valve started on the new line after getting the bottom part started on the manifold. Then start the mount bolts for the EGR. DO NOT TIGHTEN ANYTHING BEFORE GETTING EVERYTHING STARTED FIRST!!!!
