Unhappy 2000 ford ranger help

i have a 2000 frd ranger 2.5 engine, timing belt broke, put new one on and now she wont start, have tried new crankshft sensor, camshaft sensor, and new coil pks, hav e put it in time and it will try to start but wont, anyone have any ideas, would really like to get her running again, she has been down for 3 weeks, need my truck////

Is the engine turnning?do you have spark?have you line up the markins right? any damage in valves or pistons when belt broke.it can be a big deal.

yes the motor is turning, have spark, all marks are lined up,no damage to valves or pistons, on the harmonic balance there is a wide gap between teeth and when trying to remove it the gear behind it moved and now by the book it is 2 teeth out of line, could that be the problem?

have run test and it is between 140 and 160 for each one

It can be,that happen to me rebuilding my son suzuki,be sure that the 1st cyl is at top,even if the marks are good you might be 180 degrees out at the cam.hope helps Joe
