Default Mechanic new to forum needs help

Hi im new to the forum, I have a 1994 ford ranger 2.3l manual that is giving me trouble. I need the ECU voltage pinout, or any kind of diagnosis list that would let me know if the computer is operating properly. I don't have any kind of scan tools for ford. I have done the ecu diagnosis that you can do with a jumper wire and a analog voltmeter and it showed ok, but I believe im working with a bad ecu. can anyone help. any input appreciated

autozone only scans ODBII he is ODBI you can get a scanner for that also but you have to do it your self or pay a shop. if you search for ford 2.3 pin out you will find a few links

I tried searching and found nothing I think im going to have to buy a new one and see if it cure the problem. The truck turns over and has a new coil, ignition module and i split the harness and have found nothing out of the ordinary. I do know that the pin that is labeled as power to sensors (the TPS and the EGR vacuum controller) is less than 12v and i dont know if this is normal so that is one of the signs that i think the ecu might be the reason I have no spark or injector pulse.

Sounds like it might be your crank position sensor went bad. Without it, the ECM will not know when to fire a cylinder or an injector. try turning the key on and off fast 3 times and count out how many times the light flashes between pauses, and that should give you any engine codes.

Oh I have also replaced the cps and it changed the tune of the engine when trying to start it but didn't help my situation.

No I didn't, Would that make it have no spark at all. I would still fire just at the wrong times.
