Default Easiest motor swap?

I'm thinking about maybe a twin cam swap for my 98. The 5r55e is a five speed right? So I would gain 25 ponies or so? And maybe a better trans? More power, a/c, 5spd auto, sounds good so far. Talk to me.

twin cam? you talking the SOHC? what motor. and yes 5r55e is a 5 speed and no it isnt the best trans its actually weak.

easiest motor swap would be a Carbed 5.0L with a Tremec hardly any wiring to hook up at all. drop right in and run.

I have the SOHC now, with the 4r44e. The newer 4banger is a DOHC with only 4 sparkplugs right down the middle. So more power and a better gear spread.
