Arrow Timing belt

I've replaced my cam timing belt after it broke at about 40mph. Now it's running there's a nasty tapping from the engine. Is this likely to be from the valves/piston making contact when the belt broke? I'm not familiar with this 4 cyl engine to know if that happens.

You may want to re-check your timing marks to make sure they are lined up right. A tooth off either way could cause trouble.
