i need fuel line help for my '98 ranger

I have a '98 ranger with a 4 cylinder and the 5 speed tranny. I just got out of prison from doing 4 years and while I was inside, my dad thought it might be a good idea to drain the fuel tank. being that there isn't a drain plug, he decided the best course of action would be to unbolt the fuel tank and cut the fuel line that runs from the fuel pump to fuel filter. ive talked to my local ford dealership and they told me this part isn't even made anymore. they said they might be able to find it, but the bill on it would probably be in the $150 to $200 range. im not paying that much for a dang fuel line. is there anyone out there that knows the part number for this or has any ideas about what I can use as a permanent replacement or a substitute part. you can text me if it would be easier 859=-629-9278. please help me get this fixed so I can get my truck running and get to work and AA.
