Im just still learning all this.
I love my Ranger and i wanna get it running soon
Any help is greatly appreciated i will be posting pics this after noon . Heres a link to my Build Thread:

Have gotten into a few of ones like that, most times if you lay the wires over the engine, they will come close to where they are sopposed to go. And most times the plugin's are one wire fit only, that helps.

Go look at a dealer that has same truck you working on... he he he.. act interested and at the end tell the sales guy that it is overpriced and walk away...

Also look at the autotrader from a stupid phone app (no such thing as a smart phone) and look at the pics they publish from under the hood, do like a 700 mile search...

think you will need an assembly manual. Or visit the same year truck. Some years are nearly the same. Example; my 1999 2.5 5spd is not exactly like my 2000 2.5 5speed. The 2000 has a return line fuel system my 99 does not. Some vacuum lines are routed different.

That's weird, mine is a 98 and doesn't have a return line.

Re: 94 Ranger 2.3 5 Spd Engine Wiring Help
OK so i figured out where these had to go. One went to the oil pressure sender on the cyl head, Second longer wire goes to a sensor on the block im guessing its some kind of coolant temp Sensor.
----------
These black lines the real skinny ones you can see in the pic right over the A/C Receiver, I'm trying to find out what these are and if i can and should replace them because there all broken on mine .
Now i found this image off google but mine looks the same:
