Default Ford Ranger 2.3L NO POWER HELP!

Hey i have a ford ranger i am driving atm, and it runs like crap.
It has no power it takes me apox. 2mins to get up to 50 kph its really bad
and somtimes i have to use 4low gear to get up small hills around the city

we have changed the sensors some of them anyways but nothing changed. i did unplug the o2 sensor and it didnt effect the performance of the truck so im wondering if it is the o2 sensor but it smells really rich and it seems like all the plugs are being flooded cyclinder 3 and 4 arnt doing anything but #4 is dry and #3 is wet after running the truck 1 & 2 are usally dry.

we have changed the spark plugs and wires, roter and cap and injectors (this is all the new stuff)
sensors were used

as well i took it to ford and they said i should replace my o2 sensor (but i have no money) so i decided to bring the truck home and i went to test the sensor because they said anything about .5 volts its gonna lean it out and anything under .5 volts will make it run richer. when i tested the o2 sensor i got .45 volts .3 volts then i ran the truck and it said 0 volts so i assume that means its gonna make the truck run really rich and flood the plugs.

I'm looking to see if anyone has any other suggestions if not I will go out and get the o2 sensor.

thanks guys for reading!

I have a 90 ranger with a 2.3 and i had a similar problem. it turned out to be my EGR valve. it was raining hard one day and i went to the gas station for some smokes. i turned the truck off, went in, and when i came out it ran like s**t. i took it to a buddys house and he started jerking vacuum lines and plugs and when he unplugged the EGR valve, it ran fine. so i just left it unplugged. no problem since. i dont know if this has any relevance to whats happening to your truck but i had all the same symptoms. slow accl, smelled rich, idled rough? just an idea...

do a compression check on all holes and a leak down test, if checks out ok do a combustion test to check for leaky head gasket.. and from there start looking for intake leaks and vacuum leaks around your main hoses like your brake booster and such..

The post is 4 years old and that truck is probably long gone.
