The '11 fixed pretty much every issue that the previous years suffered from. I think that's when Ford finally managed to undo all of the bad decisions that Mazda made when they originally built that engine ten years before. Just keep up with the regular oil changes and stuff, and keep in mind that a good chunk of your engine is plastic. That stuff will get brittle over time, especially if it gets too hot too many times.
