Default Air box mod

I have seen lots of talk on here about the air box mod and was just wondering if that can be done on my 97 2.3 liter since the air box is different looking than the ones I've seen videos for

It's a mod that can compliment other mods, but that's it. The rest of the intake, as well as the exhaust, are all tuned with that silencer in mind. So unless you do some other mods to the intake or exhaust, it's not really going to show any benefits. But if you do, that takes one more restriction out of the equation.

False. You forgot that every additional dB of noise = 5+ hp. Kinda like how stickers are good for 3 hp each if placed correctly.
