Exclamation need help new alternator still bad volts

I just replaced the motor in my 93 ranger 2.3l with same oem motor and it runs great, except that I have to recharge/get a new battery every day. I figured it would be the alternator. I had it tested and it was only sending 12.57 volts so I warrantied it and put the new one in. Once again I had it tested and the same thing. 12.57 volts. I'm assuming it is something with the wire harness to the alternator but I'm not sure. Any hints on finding where my voltage drain is?

check your ground to body and frame
also check solenoid to starter that may stay on causing a drain

Get a voltmeter and check the voltage at the charging post of the alternator, that'll help determine if it's an issue of the alt not turning on or and bad ground or blown maxi fuse

Oh and make sure the truck is running, some people would miss that part :|
