Default 2003 Ford Ranger - Cannot put gas in.

Hello. I have been having difficulty for over a year now putting gas in my 2003 Ford Ranger. I have pulled the Gas nozzle out and blew it out, pulled the EVAP canister and can blow air fine in and out of it. I'm wondering now if I might need to either drop the gas tank or pull the bed to get to the fuel pump inlet to see if I might have a clogged or kinked line. Anyone else have any experience like this? Thanks so much.

Did you check the lines going to the purge valve? It's hanging out on the driver's side of the engine, right behind the battery. Should have a small, hard vacuum line going to it, and another thick one going straight to the intake manifold.

A neighbor in a hurry to borrow gas may sometimes collapse the anti-thief device causing gas not to flow as fast as it did when new. If they continue trying ,they may finally open the line enough to remove gas, and you will be able to put gas back in faster.
I thought it was the auto pumps that was the cause of tripping off when I was refueling due to an increase in their settings but it has since stopped. I was stopping at different stations and some pumps would not kick off. It is really a pain. A locking gas cap may also increase your gas mileage.

I replaced the fuel pump on my truck and noticed the filler hose from the filler to the tank had grown very soft at the top of the tank. It's possible it could collapse or kink if yours is even softer. You can't see it but you might be able to reach up and feel it. Weirdly Ford doesn't sell just the hose and, of course, it's a non-standard diameter. They want you to buy the entire filler assembly.

I really appreciate the comments and for the advice. I plan on removing the bed today and checking the hoses out.
