Default Ok, I'm a dum-dum, I know. Engine help please?

This is kind of a story y'all can laugh at, but I need help or I might not get to work tonight lol (?). At least enjoy, and I'd you can help, I'd be appreciated!!!
So me and a friend went muddin tonight on a little trail I know pretty well. I've been on it three or four times, one time wet, and have a good mental layout of the trail, so when we went I decided to take the lead cause he's new to offroading in general. Anywho, we were a couple hundred yards down the trail, bumps here and there, lots of mud, then there was a large puddle. I used a shovel to see how soft the mud under it was, seemed pretty stiff. And I remembered this spot from previous visits, no big deal, I just skipped across it. The dip was really shallow when it was dry, so no worries? Wrong. I started across and got just the length Rarity in when the truck slipped to the left and sunk probably about thirty-five or forty degrees to the left, water level about half as high as my door. Of course, the cab immediately began filing with water, and I freaked out a little bit and tried to back it up, rock it, do anything to get her out. I finally climbed out the passenger side and told my friend to get his chain.
I left her running and hooked her up to his 4x4 F150 and eventually got her, but Rarity died while I was trying to help reversing with him. After she wouldn't start back up, we pulled her down the tail again tired pull-starting her, and after about ten minutes she finally fired up again. She ran smooth for a few minutes, we chatted about how that puddle had been deceiving and how we'd get past it when Rarity started sputtering and coughing, spitting white smoke and he says who knows what else, though I never saw anything. She died quick, and wouldn't restart for about twenty minutes, and she's been having these symptoms-

-No or extremely rough acceleration (unless I hammer it, even then its show response
-Using lots of fuel; I left with almost 3/4 tank, just got back home with almost 1/4 tank left. Also smells strong of gas when running
-White smoke on start and warm-up
-No power except at higher rpms; It literally can't use fifth gear even hammered down, and I can't hardly take off from a stop s without it dying on me.
i really hope that I just fouled my plugs or something, but I checked my air filter and its dusty but not dirty enough to restrict flow.
What are some things out might be? Fuel pump maybe?

Look, I know I'm a dum-dum, but I enjoy muddin and offroadin, besides, I wasn't tryin to break it, just need some advice on this to check. Thanks!

Did you check the fluids to make sure you didn't contaminate anything?

Not yet, about to Google it and see what i see. Also, could tell last night, but a liquid is seeping through and bubbling at a few points around my header gasket, and the header itself is sending up some white smoke also. Can't upload any damn pics

Check your oil. If you have water in the oil say goodbye to your motor. That's the first thing you do after you sink it.

Oils fine, noticed the plug to the rear coil was popped off and literally melting to the exhaust, so I filed away the excess and stuck it back on. Now it won't even start, just turn over. Dad says it sounds like the ignition plugs during when the valve is open, but he is totally confused by the spark plug setup.

The spark plugs should be the 8 plugs. One side exhaust one side intake. Sounds like time for new plugs wires and coils. Might have damage the coils. Have you checked for spark yet?

I'd imagine the air filter looks like a chocolate brownie now or is soaked at least.

I just did, I've got spark but no ignition. My plugs and wires are all new, less that a two thousand miles on em. Traced all my wires back to the cylinders, and my third and fourth cylinders on the left side of the engine (I forget which side is which) were backwards. Switched them around, it started rough and died when I tried to take off, but I tried starting it again and it fired up like a good girl. Took her around the block and she still pops a bit, but other than that seems good. Can anyone tell me how the heck I was driving like that? She drives like she did before I screwed whatever up last night, and I changed the plugs and wires two months ago, been driving like that this whole time. I am, I swear, a true dum-dum.

----------

I checked the air filter last night, it was surprisingly clean. Course, it's only two out the months old too.

Liquid is coming out of your exhaust manifold gasket? Sounds to me like you smoked the head gasket at the MINIMUM.

Well since it started running right again it seems like that's stopped too. The only thing I can think of is that the liquid was the gas from the three and/or four cylinder? I mean, it's stopped smoking, I figure that's just from where sons oil got dumped when the truck tipped, and the bubbling has stored- engine has been running fine, hasn't tried to overheat on me yet. Still, is there a way I could check for blown gaskets and the like without taking everything apart?

----------

Stopped. Dang auto correct

----------

And is some, not sons lol

Dual plugs can run with two wires crossed, it sometimes isn't noticeable when you get the wires crossed.

Apparently lol. Well I guess it is fixed? I honestly dunno. It feels the same as it did before, maybe a tad stronger, but I'm just happy to get it back how it used to ruin. Could running it with crossed plugs like I was hurt the engine?

Ok, just wondering. Drove her to work and back, plus went to the carwash, about fifty miles, and its running flawlessly. Might need a alignment though lol
