Just a warning do not do the ignition mod that made my truck run crap and when i let off the gas i would get a clunk now with my plugs back in normal firing order the truck runs smoother and doesnt hestiate no more

i think you have an underlying issue there...plenty of others have done it with no problems

Well it did for a short time then i started having those issues i put back to the normal order all issues ive had solved

What could it be then no codes or anything on my truck dont have any vaccum leaks all the sensors work

Kinda hard to have issues doing a mod that doesn't actually change anything. Daniel I think you may have crossed two plug wires, the dual plug 2.3 & 2.5s are odd because they will run fairly good with two wires crossed but will miss for just a second under acceleration. I learned this when I first got may truck which was when Chilton was selling manuals for the ranger with the wrong firing order for the 2.3/2.3.
