Default 03 2.3 bog issue

Hello everyone, been having this little issue for a while now and am still dumbfounded on how to fix it. While driving, if I am in between 45 and 60 mph and I am applying enough force to drive at that speed (ie not accelerate or decelerate) the truck will feel like its bogging. This feeling is exaggerated while going uphills, to the point where if I don't downshift it will buck. If I do the same thing above but not in OD then no issues. Another note, if I press the accelerator down but not enough to cause a downshift it gets worse.

Things I've done:
replaced fuel filter
replaced air filter
replaced plugs
replaced wires
replaced TPS
Cleaned MAFS

Doing transmission filter tomorrow

If anyone has any ideas on where to look or things to do please let me know.

Thanks!

Its been doing this since I bought the truck almost two years, never worse nor better but constant. I have cleaned the TB and done a Seafoam as well, but no the throttle cable mod (zip ties right?)

Yep...zip ties. It sounds weird but works great.

Only had enough room on the cable for 1 zip tie, throttle response was better but it still bogs at those speeds.

More ideas anyone?

Try clearing the fuel trims by disconneting both wires from the battery and touching them together, this clears the memory on the computer. Sounds like its running lean. If it is the fuel trims, the problem will go away for ten or fifteen minutes but will eventually come back when the computer adjusts the fuel again.

Just learned about fuel trims from reading up on them and I will do that tomorrow. I went to a transmission shop and they pulled any pending or current codes from the tranny and there were none. He said that have a fuel service done at ford to clean the valves and all the carbon build might solve the problem. He said since its a low HP motor that when the torque converter clutch engages its puts a load on the engine and it isn't able to supply enough power for smooth operation. He also mentioned going to a higher grade gas. Anyone have any comments on this? Thanks
