So the other day, I was rolling down the road and then the engine just stalls, first thing after getting it towed back was throwing a new fuel filter on and check any and all connections... they all seemed fine but the starter solenoid post for the positive had been broken so that will be next... I know the starter has nothing to do with it stalling, but what could actually cause it to stall like this?

U tried starting it after? When did it stall? So it stalled and then next second u called a tow truck?

Possible causes,

Broken timing chain, bad fuel pump, bad coil pack, bad iac valve, water suked in thru intakes, a short somewhere, bad ecu, there are lots of things that can cause it to stall.
