Default 2001 2.5l miss and lack of power

On the way home my 2001 ranger xl 2.5l auto 2wd began to run rough and slowed to about40mph on the hwy. I have replaced the timing belt plugs wires and coil pack but engine is harder to start and now will barely move when in reverse or drive engine sputters and will stall if you let off throttle at all. No codes thrown. Please help. it also seems to have a miss or skip at idle.

Clean the throttle body, replace air filter, check for clogs in there?

Change plugs?

check for vacuum leaks at the intake manifold. find instructions on how to do that rite here on FRF.

No codes new MAF, have checked for vacuum leaks with starting fluid nothing, checked IAC, cleaned throttle body, new air filter, checked, rechecked, and checked again the timing. no arcs on wires. fire on all 8 plugs still will not run right. was running pretty good before the incident occurred. timing belt was okay but was overdue to be changed. coil pack did have a huge hole in the bottom of it. engine still runs rough does idle(jumps like it has a miss though) but when put in gear you have to put the accelerator to the floor to keep truck running then truck barely moves and the one time I pull out on the street as soon as it managed to shift to 2nd it stalled. I need help. does anyone have any ideas this is my third 2.5l ranger but the other 2 always worked. I have spent a small fortune trying to fix this. now I fear it may be internal issues.
