Re: Why is oil so dark!!!
it means the oil is doing its job of keeping the sludge building particals suspended in the oil for the filter to pick up instead of being deposited in the oil passages and valve train. oil manufacturers add detergents to the oil achieve that.

Re: Why is oil so dark!!!
What brand oil are you using? Depending on the brand, some get dark sooner than others. But yeah, it getting dark, means the dirt is in the oil, not on your engine. Don't worry about it, some of the best oils out there look dark after a couple weeks, but continue to protect much longer. Just keep up with your 5000 mile oils changes, and no worries. Oh, and change the spark plugs at 100K miles.

Cause every post you've made seems to be about speeding or racing.

Shoulda used NGK IrridiumIX plugs, IMHO. And your oil should be 5W20, you're giving away free horsepower with thicker oil.
