Has anyone upgraded the manifold on this engine? Im doing some mild upgrades on my truck and I cant get a line on a Manifold to save my life. I know the heads on this engine are compatible with allot of other ford/mazda models but I have no idea if the throttle body will bolt on, if the sensors have proper ports etc. My plan at the moment is to find a miata at a junkyard as its the only car with a North-South configuration and the Manifold is more likely to be in a good position as opposed to a FWD car.

No. Only thing ive seen close, is someone cut the mounting flange off a brandx cossi style mani and then rewelded to the correct orientation. Not even sure if jesus herself can weld chinese cast aluminum but the guy managed very very very well. Stock i.m. is good to 190hp NA and hitting 200 hp NA, where the stock i.m. would start to hold you back, is a real feat with these motors.
