Is the truck warming up? Do you have good heat?

Could be a number of things like the thermostat being stuck open or the sensors that are on the thermostat housing are bad. Is the truck getting getting warm? How many miles do you drive before it moves?

You probably have a bad thermostat.

X2 its probably just a stuck thermostat buy a new one put it in and see what happens. If its not that then its the sensors.

Could also be the radiator cap vent is plugged, this will cause it to run cold, you will get heat when driving but not when idling.

How long does it take for the heat to come on?

Like someone suggested I would say one of the two sensors on the thermostat housing is bad. The sensors are on the thermostat housing just follow your upper radiator hose and it will lead you ti the thermostat housing which is where the sensor is located.
