Default Heater hose

Owing to replace my hoses on my 1998 2.5 2 WD. The one heater hose is listed on auto zone and rock auto as reduced end and then they have ones that aren't reduced. Does anyone know which hose to get?

Default Re: Heater hose

You could just get some 5/8" ID (I think thats correct) hose cut to fit. Just buy by the foot and measure from the thermostat housing to the heater valve/valve to heater core/heater core back to valve/ and valve to water pump inlet.

I don' think there are any sharp bends. (could be)

There are two selections available for pre-molded hoses: from the thermostat housing to the valve and from the valve back to the water inlet tube. There are no direct replacements for the two leading to and leaving the heater core except for cut to fit 5/8" hose.
