Re: 89 ranger will NOT START, ignition, start,
key groove on crank shaft should point at 12o'clock and top pulley mark should line up at almost 5'oclock. There is a mark on the plastic. I used a philup screwdriver to find tdc. When it comes up all the way before it starts to go back down its at tdc. line them up and put belt on.

1990 Ranger 2.3L 4 cylinder. Cranks but wont fire. Got spark and fuel. Only oneside sparks.
