Have you cleaned out the gas tank before replacing the pump?

----------

Also, you might check voltage at the connector going to the pump and compare it to manufacturer specs

Do you drive it low on gas a lot of the time? Have you ever put a voltmeter across the FP leads to make sure it's getting full voltage rather than less than that, which might be attributed to a bad connection? Low voltage on electrical components like a motor or FP = heat = shortened life.

Bosch.... rangers don't like Bosch anything. Getting a motor craft one. Should come with a warranty on rockauto.com so if it fails, you could exchange it and figure out the real problem. Have you replaced your fuel filters and made sure the lines werent plugged

I agree about Bosch but the MC is to expensive. Look on Rockauto for a red heart next to the part. Maybe a Airtex, carter or spectra Are you replacing the entire sending unit or just the pump?
