Default Mass air flow sensor?

Ive got a 2003 Ranger with a 2.3L and ive noticed lately that when you take off from a dead stop or try to go up a steep hill that its just like the motor has no power. Ive also noticed that im only getting between 240 to 260 miles out of a full tank of gas. Could this be the mass air flow sensor going bad or could it be something else. Ive changed the plugs, wires, pcv valve, fuel filter and had the tranny fluid and filter changed and im running out of things to change.

Try just cleaning the MAF sensor first... easy and cheap.

x2 Can of MAF cleaner is around 9 bucks if I remember right. Also might want to check your engine coolant temp sensor
