hi ive got a 1986 ford ranger with a 2.3 efi 5 speed. been running great until last week. went out to start it and nothing but a loud buzzing from the solenoid. took the starter in and it checked out fine(it was only 3 months old). so i figured the solenoid was bad. replaced it and the same thing happens. loud buzzing from the solenoid wont turn over wont do nothing but buzz. thinking maybe a bad linkable fuse but if anyone has a better idea where to look id appreciate it.

low charge/dead battery.. or bad ground

check the battery cables and charge the battery
