4.0
will the wiring Harness work from a 3.0 on a 4.0? im planing a 4.0 swap. i also need the 4.0 computer right? the 3.0 sucks. so gears and a 4.0 is wat im going to do. i want me some power
 will a expo 4.0 bolt right in without modding the motor mounts?

I am pretty sure you need 4.0 wire harness
Im not positive but I think the 4.0 in explorer is pretty much the same as the ranger one for that year
