Default 94 4.0l misfire

i have been having trouble as of late with my 94 4.0l v6 automatic tranny, whats happening is the engine is misfiring ,and after driving it for about 15-20 mins the problem clears up, i just recently replaced the plugs and that fixed it for about 2 months the first time and only a few weeks the second time i changed the plugs, i have good compression 175 psi on each clyinder no sign of coolant in the oil, good fuel pressure and wires are fairly new less then a year, im getting spark and i have double platinums and have tried both double and single plats. if anyone has any ideas let me know anything will help thanks in advance

man...sounds like you might have a dirty fuel injector or something. sometimes you get a little piece of dirt or something that floats around in that injector and causes it to work sometimes and not other times.. i would diagnose which cylinder is misfiring and then pull that injector and clean it..try and put it back in and see if it clears up. if not you may have to buy a new injector. or you go to the junk yard and pull a few and shove them in your pocket and buy a hub cap! like me hahahahahaha

Have you replaced your fuel filter recently? You might want to start there, it's cheap

check wires, fuel injectors, are just give the thing a good tune up. also keep a eye on your coolent. the 4.0s are common to have head problems near the number 4 cyr and 5 cyr. and what is your spark plugs looking like when you pull em?

hey guys thanks for the replies, the chassis has 255000 miles on it but the engine has about 50,000 now, the coolant looks good no milky oil or anything that shows signs of gasket or head problems, thankfully, the dirty injector sounds likely, cause the plugs looked awsome when they came out, and the wires are fairly new, im going to check it with a spark tool and double verify an easy fix, also do the 4.0l v6's use 19lbs injectors, if so i have 8 laying around the garage in good condition, thanks again.
