Every day ater driviung the truck when I shut it off I smell coolant. I sometimes see spots on the ground passengers side back near the firewall on the ground. I checked the heater hoses & they are dry. Anything that is common or what I should look for? It is a 4.0 OHV. The truck has 143,000 miles.

Pressure test the system and see what you find. In the area you are describing I would bet heater core...
