I just cleaned my throttle body, and from what it sounds like you are describing it is the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). There are only two sensors bolted actually on the throttle body. I'm not very technical, but I know one is on top and is cylindrical, the other is bolted on the left side if you are looking at the front. That is the TPS

So what is the cylinder looking one? Is that the Idle air control valve?

Nevermind I found the answer to my own question...The one I was talking about is the Idle air control valve.

My next question is how do you clean that valve, or is it even possible without screwing it up?
