Default 96 Ranger overheating problem 4.0

Hi I have a 96 ranger automatic that gets hot really fast when I go hard on it in the sand. I know that it will over heat the harder you go on it, but it's ridiculous how hot it gets and how fast. I have managed to over-heat the motor to the point of it spewing out a ton of steam three or four times. afterwards it doesn't like to start, and then acts like its missing for quite awhile afterwards. I have replaced the thermostat, and I know coolant is flowing pretty well. My problem is that I can't find any good three or four core all aluminum radiators for my truck or anything performance wise for the cooling system. any help is appreciated.

^^^^x2.
I had the same problem at idle. Change the fan clutch, also make sure it is way cooled down after an over heat...

I found out why it was misfiring, I had a spark -plug wire melted to my exhaust manifold. Yes the clutch fan is working, I have no problems under normal use, it's just when I put some(okay a lot of) stress on the motor it overheats super fast. I know that 4.0 isnt working too hard, so I'm going to try to flush it and put in a new OE style radiator if I can't find any performance bolt-on ones(so far no luck).
