1993 4.0 Auto 140,700 miles. Only makes the noise under load not in park but does it during idle when in reverse or drive and I am on the brakes... It's not a high pitched noise it's more low pitched and it just doesn't sound good.. Anyone know anything about this?


Edit: seems to have stopped after truck has warmed up..

Regeared to 3.73's, Ultra 15x7 rims, 235/70/15 Yokohama Geolandar AT/S tires.
Mods: plastidipped grill and header panel, Throttle cable mod, aftermarket projector headlight and corners, Alpine CDA-105 Headunit, 2 MTX TS82 8" subs in trick boxes, strobe lights on front of truck. K&N drop in filter, 2.5" exhaust after catalytic converter to a Thrush Welded muffler, pipe exits at stock location.

is it sporatic, or does it have a set rythme, as in a pattern.

Uh I Think it has a set rhythm.. It happened just again I'm leaving work now but its definitely rhythm related like its going with the engine as it fires..
