Arrow Now Whats This Water/Oil in air intake

Ok guys... or girls if there are any.... I am having the time of my life with my truck... So here we go...
About 2 Weeks ago I was changing my air filter and noticed that the tube leading to my oil was white inside it. So I took the cap off the oil and also covered with a thick condensation. I was like "Oh No".... checked the actual oil... nothing, its clean.... but being as I just got this truck thought I would take it into the ford dealer to see what was causing it... they said oh nothing to worry about... its pretty common. I said ok... though I always thought water in the engine was a bad thing.... So a day passes and my EGR valve kicks a code... I replace it... but while I was doing this, I checked my air filter again... its soaked on one side with a light brown slim... along with everything up to my throttle body... inside my throttle body is a thick black sludge...
I left it until I could look into it more.... Drove my 2001 Jeep Grand Cher. with a straight 6...... Way more horsepower.... it got up and moved.... So I went home hoped in the truck.... It moves... good, but nothing compared to the Jeep. I also noticed when I put the petal down... and I mean down.... I get this hesitation... it keeps happening as fast as I go, starting around 40 MPH until... I have to slow down ..... that being said.... if I do this and level out at say 70 MPH the hesitation goes away and it drives fine... its only while Im giving it gas.... The Specs say my Ranger 4.0 should be faster than my Jeep 4.0
They both sound great... no rattles or weird Idle.. the Ranger when cold starts at about 1500 but after a couple of seconds hits at about 750 or so...

I know this all has to be connected... I've done the spark plugs, wires, ignition coil.... My ranger has the 4.10 Axle.... and Like I said the 4.0L

One more thing that might come into play is while driving it I hear a sputtering sound from under the front of my truck... it comes and goes.. while accellerating I have taken it to the ford dealer and they don't have a clue... but with all the moisture going into the throttle body I know thats got to be hard on my engine..... Any Ideas would be helpful....

Sounds like you might have a bad plug. Does it idle a bit rough? If it does...while the truck is running, pull the plug wires off one a a time from the coil pack. Be careful not to ground yourself to the truck or you'll get a little surprise. The idle should change every time you pull a wire. If there is no change, that cylinder isn't firing. Check your wire connections and replace the plug if necessary.

If not, maybe take a video of what it is doing and we can help you out better.

well you do get condenstion in the motor naturally, thats why you need to let your engine warm up, the valve cover breathers allows the gasses to escape the motor to the intake, so could of gotten some water in the block, and it ends up in the intake system through warm up and the breather. I have a hunch you might have a head gasket problem, make sure your not blowing smoke or not losing coolant, might explain the egr problem and water in the oil
