Default Delayed engine swap memory troubles

Ok, I'm swapping a 2004 explorer engine into a 2004 ranger. Initially it was supposed to be an intake manifold replacement due to overheating, but we were offered an engine for $500 with 25k fewer miles on it that hadn't been overheated. I've swapped everything external over to the new engine but can't remember a couple hose locations. (it's been over 6 months since we started the project and have only been able to work on it occasionally on weekends!)

One is the PCV valve hose...where does the other end go?
Also, the horseshoe shaped tube around the pcv valve, I only found one hose that seems to want to go there from a Tee in the heater core hose; the other one is missing.

The other hose is labeled 'fuel hose' by my fiance, but I don't have a clue where it came from. It's coming in from the driver's side wheel well where it attaches to a sensor of some sort beneath the power steering fluid reservoir (big plastic/aluminum thing with what looks like an unscrewable top on it (doesn't actually unscrew, just looks like it could) and I don't find anywhere on the intake manifold or fuel rail it could hook up to.

I have a photo but can't figure out how to upload it here...

Thanks in advance!

Default Re: Delayed engine swap memory troubles

Good news! My brother in law came over and inside of 2 minutes figured out what was up with both hoses!

The second one goes into the throttle body below where I was looking...

The first one was a matter of wrong hose from the wrong engine and when Chris pointed out a pair of hoses that I kept overlooking and one went to the PCV valve, the other to the horseshoe shaped piece around the pcv valve. Both went into the front passenger side of the intake manifold!

Problem solved!

Thanks for being willing to check! I had hoped that as soon as I posted it, I would figure it out myself. All it took was a fresh set of eyes looking at it.

Now, if I can just get the clutch slave bled and the starter put back in! (Gonna try bleeding air at the master cylinder behind the pedal for the clutch, and dropping the front driveshaft to get the starter in.

Wish me luck!
