Turbo/super charger
I'm coming back from a deployment here soon and want to start ordering stuff and wondering if I should get a super charger or turbo. Any options will be greatly appreciated which one should I go with and where can I find kits for a 2004 ford ranger 4.0 sohc leaning towards a turbo but like I said idk.

As far as a supercharger 'kit' goes - search for the RPCaster setup.
Many guys have used it (including me ).

In two and a half hours on a Sunday of a long holiday weekend I am not surprised you had no responses. Be patient, people will answer your questions when they have time.

Re: Turbo/super charger
Turbo will take more money and more custom fabrication but will be more efficient than a supercharger. A turbo will also make more power with less boost. Depending how much boost you will want to run you will want to build up your motor. Like said above you can buy a supercharger kit and almost "bolt it right on" but like I just said a turbo will take a lot more custom fabrication. Hope this helps

When it comes to superchargers for these trucks - The RPCaster setup is really the only option when talking a 'kit' type setup.

no
EDIT:
Research Time:
http://www.bansheesupercharger.com/
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Ranger-...item1e63eddf4a
His kit is designed to use the Eaton M90 from the '89 thru '93 Ford T-Bird Supercoupe (not supplied).
