93 4.0 build Need Help
Hey im looking to build my 4.0 the only thing it has is a specter intake..ive been looking into a turbo kit but i would like to hear anybodies ideas on it. its a 93 with a 5 speed manual. anything would be sweet thanks.

Installing a turbo is a major pain in the ass... I wouldn't really do it on a pickup unless you plan to race it or have a major hard on for turbochargers. Have to mess with engine itself to compensate for extra pressure, transmission and gears to handle strain.. Dyno test it with ECM connected to reader... and would probably want to sandbag, or custom weld weight with your pickup bed.

I installed a turbo on a talon i had a few years ago with some intake piping issues wich i figured id run into with this pickup..what r the needed mods engine wise? Pistons to hold up to the boost or what?

The kit is for a 3.0 all you have to do is tale it to a shop and have them cut the bottom plate off the Plenum and make one to match the intake runners for the 4.0 I just had this priced here it was 75-100 and I have an extra lower intake manifold for them to match it to. Once that is done it is a direct bolt on. Its the Eaton m112 and cobra TB. Intake elbow from the SC to TB. The Plenum, 48lb injectors.

800 im just tired of seeing it lay around. I don't have the time to put it on between running car shows/ meets 4 nights out of the week plus work besides someone wants to trade me a fox body for my truck with a built 351 swap ohhhh boy lol
