Default location of crankshaft position sensor

Where is the crankshaft position sensor located on a 1998 XLT Extended Cab 4.0L? I have starting issues and this seems that this might be the culprit. Engine always starts in compression so fuel pump does not seem to be the problem.

Thanks

That's what I thought you said lol my fault for not reading.

The crank is located near the dampener on the passenger side. It has this open metal ring in the sensor
