Oil Pressure "Gauge"
WTF is up with the oil pressure needle jumping around like nuts? When I stop at a red light the needle ticks back and forth on the low end.

X2...Check ground at battery to engine block & clamp at battery. Should also be a small ground wire from engine to cab firewall maybe two.

Its not not going to be anything to do with the battery or grounds or wires going anywhere.
It is one of three things.
1) The wire on the sender is loose. Fix it.
2) The sender is bad. They're cheap. Replace it.
3) Your oil pressure is low. The sender closes at 7psi. If you're hovering around 7psi, it will flicker like that.
So obviously check your oil and check the wire. If both are fine, replace the sender.

This post makes the most sense to me. Could it be a bad oil pump?

I have same problem with gauge. What I did is flush it with half a can of sea foam then i added a quart of locus then rest with 10/30 oil. Going to test it out tomorrow on a long drive. Only diff is I get a little tapping noise maybe a lifter. Hopefully nothing worse.
