Default what do you think about diablosport intune?

just seeking some feedback. i have a 2011 ranger 4.0. I don't want to deal with getting dyno'd. just saw the Intune & wondering what other people are thinking about it. just looking for more "oomph" (my previous vehicle was a mustang and i miss that "oomph")

guess I'll be the first! ordered InTune yesterday. hope it's worth the $400 (I'll be needing to reprogram for bigger tires anyway)
before tuner:
14 mpg in town. 16 mpg combined. 20mpg on hwy.
transmission seems doggy (I have never found an automatic transmission that responds fast enough for me, they're always a little slow on the downshift when i stomp on it).
what about the power? that's too subjective, we'll wait until after the tuner.

2011 ranger xlt 4.0 4x4 automatic. 3800 miles (it sits a lot while it waits for the next adventure)

received tuner on Monday. I filled the tank up with premium (91 octane) and went home to install my tuner. install on pc took 10-15 minutes, it auto-ran a couple of updates. 30 minutes later I grab the keys to the truck. 10 minutes later I get it plugged in (had to loosen the OBD2 connector, no worries). installed and chose 91 octane. I noticed that my differential wasn't listed (3.73, factory gears) so I send a quick message to the folks at Diablo, we should be able to get this squared away with a minor update. I change the shift points and stiffen up the shifts (don't increase your timing, according to Vas @ Diablo, I trust him on that) and go for a drive. rats, I thought I would get more than this. in fact, was this just a "placebo effect"? so I go back and forth and uninstall and reinstall & I can feel a minor difference but .....um .... seat of the pants I think I just spent $200 per horsepower. I already requested a return from RealTruck and we'll see how it goes, maybe I'll just friggin keep it and see if I get some extra gas mileage.

at least I have my honda hornet!

Ah crap. I was hoping there would really be a difference. Guess I won't waste my money. Thanks for the report.

251 mile road trip, 15.5 gallons = 16 mpg. hmmm ... at premium costing 20c more per gallon ... ...
