Default Rubbing Sound While Driving

So I began to hear a rubbing sound on the drivers side of my truck yesterday while on the way to work.

It sounds like metal-on-metal and it is coming from either the front wheel or back wheel. The sound is consistent with the wheel spinning, like it is rubbing only at a certain point in the wheel rotation.

Could this be the brake pad rubbing on the rotor?

If not, what else could this be?

I need help!
