Default CAMSHAFT Sensor/Misfiring

I have a 99 ranger, 6cyl. I just received a smog check and failed (fails every 3 years). They told me things I already new such as random/multiple misfire and an issue with Camshaft Sensor A. I still have yet to determine why it is misfiring... At first I thought it was a fuel pump issue, but now I'm thinking it is because of the sensor? Where is the Sensor located?

It is a Flex Fuel Ranger if that makes a difference
