im looking to put an intake on my '94, preferably a k&n. but for some reason, they only make them for '97s and up. why is that? and is it possible to make the '97 k&n intake work for my '94?
Any other better intakes worth looking at?

Can't say I agree or disagree with anyone here on the intake opinions. I had to replace my intake filter with a K&N (and some innovation) because the filter housing in mine was cracked to shit and wasn't helping anything.

However, I'll be putting in one from KKM here pretty soon. The ONLY one I found that makes a custom MAF housing adapter for the 93-up. They use S&B filters, and they have the other accessories/cleaning kits for them.
